Jones also suggested that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “It's clear there are certain ways you can go about things,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s more of an issue.” Positive Results Liverpool's form have remained strong in the matches since the initial controversy. Jones believes the Salah's words were not intended to destabilise the squad. “When there’s been any sort of anger, the source has been from a desire to win,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re building chemistry, playing well and on a positive run.”
